Maintenance Interval Guidelines and Quality Service for your INFINITI Vehicle

Your Infiniti is engineered and built to drive for many years when properly maintained. Many factors, which include your driving habits, weather conditions, road conditions, and more, contribute to how frequently your vehicles' components need to be inspected, adjusted, or replaced.

Let Alta Infiniti help you get the most out of your vehicle. To best protect your investment, we suggest recommended maintenance at the prescribed interval. Reference your owner's manual for detailed recommended maintenance based on your vehicle's year, model, and trim, or contact our Service Centre for more information.

Factors That Affect Maintenance Requirement

Many factors may affect your Infiniti's maintenance schedule. Continuously monitor your driving habits and exterior influences that may affect your vehicle. Below is a list of factors to consider when deciding when to schedule your next service appointment at Alta Infiniti.

  • Shorter Trips. Repeated short trips of less than 8km may increase your vehicle's maintenance needs.
  • Freezing Weather Conditions. Canadian winter driving conditions are classified as 'Severe Operating Conditions'. You must follow the recommendations found in your owner's manual for all maintenance related items. In cold weather, your vehicle will require maintenance more often if your average trip is less than 16kms.
  • Hot Weather. City stop-and-go traffic, or long-distance travel at low speeds, can place added stress on a vehicle's cooling systems, requiring more frequent checks.
  • Salt, Dust, and Mud. Driving on salt-sprayed roads or in dusty, rough or muddy surface conditions can accelerate wear on various vehicle components.
  • Vehicle Loads. Towing and frequently hauling heavy loads make your vehicle work harder than normal, so it will require attention more often.
